Environmental Compliance Engineer (EPA/TSCA and RCRA)

EPA/TSCA Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with various departments to educate on TSCA requirements.
  • Monitor the status of chemical products, intermediates and raw materials for compliance with TSCA.  File applications as needed.
  • Review new product orders for compliance with TSCA.
  • Work with the purchasing department on defining the TSCA status of raw materials and determining TSCA compliance for both domestic supplied and imported raw materials.
  • Draft required notifications to the EPA.
  • Prepare any required Chemical Data Reporting Forms

Hazardous Waste Responsibilities include:

  • Train, advise, monitor and evaluate production, maintenance and warehousing activities to ensure compliance with in-house and regulatory (RCRA) requirements.
  • Process and file various regulatory reports
  • Facilitate external (CDPHE and EPA) inspections.
  • Maintain documentation on waste operations, shipments and training.

Qualifications include:

  • BS degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
  • 4-10 years of regulatory experience, including EPA/TSCA and RCRA.

Maintenance Technician (Electrician)

Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm with on-call 3 days per month.  Requirements include:

  • Current Colorado Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
  • Has 3-5 years of experience in an industrial environment.
  • Can read and understand P&ID schematics, blueprints, drawings, sketches and specifications.
  • Proven experience working with rigid conduit, 1/2″ to 3″ installations, mainly working with 120 & 208 Volt systems but on occasion, 480 Volt, 3ph systems.
  • Knowledge of Class 1, Division 1 & 2 electrical requirements, industrial preventative maintenance and excellent trouble shooting skills.
  • Allen Bradley controls experience with PLCs and programming HMIs, VFDs, sensors and transducers a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Must be available for overtime and on-call 3 days per month.  

Maintenance Technician (HVAC)

Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm with on-call 3 days per month.  Requirements include:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC troubleshooting, along with knowledge of boilers, chillers, and cooling tower operations.
  • Experience in installing stainless steel tubing, copper fiberglass, and PVC pipe.
  • Must be able to read and understand schematics, blueprints, P&ID drawings, sketches, and specifications.
  • Experience performing general and preventive maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Class 1, Division 1 & 2 electrical requirements, industrial preventative maintenance and excellent trouble shooting skills.
  • Have currently or the ability to obtain state refrigerant license.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Must be available for overtime and on-call 3 days per month.  

Senior Process Design or Project Engineer (Chemical Engineer)

We are seeking a qualified Senior Process Design Engineer to provide engineering and technical assistance to support Production, R&D, and Pilot Plant operations.  Responsibilities include the design of new manufacturing lines and facilities, the development and implementation of ideas for reducing manufacturing costs, increasing capacity and improving product quality; troubleshooting processes and systems for continual improvement; defines and oversees execution of projects from initial scope to completion; develops engineering standards and guidelines for the engineering group; and assists in the maintenance of the operating equipment, utilities and plant.

Qualifications include a minimum of a Bachelor degree in chemical engineering with at least 7-10 years of experience with batch operations in specialty chemicals, pharmaceutical manufacturing or similar industry.  Plant operations experience strongly preferred.  Must have exceptional mechanical reasoning skills, having working knowledge of AutoCAD and be highly familiar with batch process typical of the specialty chemical industry.  Must have competency in the following areas:  thermodynamics, principles of distillation, process control, organic and inorganic chemistry, mass transfer, materials of construction, utilities and equipment specification, Process Safety Management and ASME, API, IBC, IFC, NFPA and other code requirements. 

Human Resources Director

The Human Resources Director will be responsible for both tactical and strategic aspects of directing, managing and implementing a comprehensive HR program for a growing company of 180 employees.  One HR Generalist reports to this position.  Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field, plus a minimum of 10 years of HR experience, including management.  Master degree preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in multiple HR disciplines, including recruiting, employee relations, benefits, compensation, talent management and employment law.
  • Hands-on and “lead by example” approach to work.
  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP a plus.
  • Manufacturing or research organization experience a plus.

Chemical Operators – Production 

We are growing and currently looking for great people to join our team as a Chemical Production Operator.  Our Chemical Production Operators work 12 hour shifts in our production plant (schedule includes every other weekend and holidays); shifts rotate between days and nights every 12 weeks.  Pay is $22 per hour with $2 per hour night shift differential. Potential pay increases after 1 year, department promotional opportunities and annual increases dependent upon performance. Paid training will be Monday-Friday on days (8 hours/day) for the first 3 weeks.

Requirements include: High school diploma or GED; good mathematical and English reading and writing skills; ability to follow detailed instruction and strong mechanical aptitude. Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and move/pivot 75+ pounds frequently and be comfortable working in variable weather conditions. Industrial experience helpful but not required.
