Analytical Chemist (PhD or Master’s)

We are seeking an Analytical Chemist for method development with a focus on supporting our Research & Development group. The desired candidate will exhibit a solid foundation in method development, troubleshooting analytical instrumentation, and experience in both NMR and chromatography method development. You are encouraged to submit a cover letter, along with your resume.

Key responsibilities:

  • Efficiently plan and execute method development of R&D processes slated for scale-up.
  • Use a combination of literature and experimentation to identify viable characterization methods for organic/organometallic synthesis.
  • Summarize results, write technical reports and effectively present information to stakeholders.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair existing instrumentation including NMR, GC-MS, GC/FID, and LC-MS.
  • Validate analytical methods and provide analytical support as needed for troubleshooting processes.

Minimum requirements:

A PhD or MS in Chemistry with an emphasis in analytical chemistry and a background in organic/organometallic synthesis. Must have solid NMR experience. Preference will be given to those with relevant industrial experience.

Chemical Operators – Production 

We are growing and currently looking for great people to join our team as a Chemical Production Operator.  Our Chemical Production Operators work 12 hour shifts in our production plant (schedule includes every other weekend and holidays); shifts rotate between days and nights every 12 weeks.  Pay is $19 per hour with $2 per hour night shift differential. Potential pay increases after  6 months ($20), promotional opportunities and annual increases dependent upon performance. Paid training will be Monday-Friday on days (8 hours/day) for the first 2 weeks.

Requirements include: High school diploma or GED; good mathematical and English reading and writing skills; ability to follow detailed instruction and strong mechanical aptitude. Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and move/pivot 75+ pounds frequently and be comfortable working in variable weather conditions. Industrial experience helpful but not required.
